“May I take your order？”通常是餐厅服务员对顾客说的，此处order为名词，意为“点菜；订购”。它也可以用作动词。如：
I'm hungry. Let's order some food.我饿了。让我们点一些吃的吧。 【拓展】order作名词，还有“顺序；订单；命令”的意思。如： ①Put the pictures in order, please.请将这些画按顺序排列。 ②I gave the shop an order for some eggs. 我给那家商店发了一张订单，订购了一些鸡蛋。

one bowl of...意为“一碗……”，表达“两碗……”用two bowls of...。如： I'd like a small bowl of rice.我想要一小碗米饭。

3．－What size would you like？你要多大碗的？ －Large, please.大碗的。(课本第56页)
size作名词，意为“尺寸；尺码；大小”，既可以表示物体的大小，又可以表示服装、鞋帽等的尺码、号码等。常以large简写为L(大号的), medium简写为M(中号的), small简写为S(小号的)来表示。如：
－What size shoes do you wear？你穿多大的鞋？ －I wear Size 7.我穿七号的。

【辨析】big与large都有“大”的含义，但big侧重表示一个物体的重量，含有“庞大、笨重”之意，其反义词是little。如：
