1. 关系代词的确定
“介词+关系代词”引导定语从句时，先行词指人时，关系代词用______,不可以用who或者that;先行词指物时关系代词用______,不能用that。但如果介词后置，则不受这种限制，限制性定语从句中的关系代词可省略. 【学以致用】
1) Do you know the girl ___ ____ our teacher is talking?=Do you know the girl _______our teacher is talking to?
2) The school___ _____my friend once studied is very famous= The school_____ my friend once studied is very famous.
2. 介词的选取
介词的确定要遵循“一先、二动、三意义”的原则，“一先”根据先行词的某种习惯搭配来
确定介词。“二动”即根据定语从句中的动词或形容词所需要的某种习惯搭配来确定介词。“三意义”即根据定语从句的意义来确定介词
（1）根据先行词确定 when, where, why= 介词＋关系代词。
【学以致用】I’ll never forget the day________ （= when ）I joined the army. The factory__________（= where）his father works is far away from my hometown. I don’t know the reason__________ （＝why）he was late for school. （2）根据从句中动词短语来确定.
【学以致用】 This is the car_________ you paid a high price.
The man __________ you shook hands just now is Tom. （3）看定语从句中形容词与介词的搭配
【学以致用】He referred me to some reference books ____ which I am not very familiar. （4）据句子的意思确定介词
【学以致用】This is the pilot(飞行员) ____ whom I bought a camera. This is the pilot _____ whom my brother has worked for ten years.
3. “介词+关系代词”特殊用法
（1）表示所属关系时,介词用of, 即the+名词+of+ which/whom,=whose+名词. 【学以致用】He lives in a room, the window of which faces west. =He lives in a room, ________ the window faces west. =He lives in a room, ________ window faces west.
（2）the way 做先行词，若关系词在从句中做状语，关系代词用__________;若关系词在从句中做宾语或主语，关系词用____________.
