My favourite sport
Among lots of sports basketball is my favourite .I fall in love with it the first time I touch it.I really enjoy the feeling when you shoot the ball right in the basket,it brings me much confidence not only in basketball play but also in my real life.And when you play basketball you can learn a lot from it.The ball gets up and down just like how the life is.And everytime it gets down it bounces back,I know from this point that when we are defeated by the difficulties in life we should just get up and move on.Also we realise the importance of team work from basketball.Well it is my favourite sport,and I believe you will like it too.
During my secondary school years I often liked to go to the recreation room to play table tennis. Some of my classmates were very good at this game and I often tried to compete with them to improve my skill. In high school I spent many hours playing outdoor sports. I enjoyed team sports like basketball and volleyball. In my senior year I started to practice tennis. Sometimes I would find a partner to play tennis with me, but as yet I am not very good at this sport. Tennis requires great strength in the arms and legs as well as strong concentration on the game.

Sometimes, it seems impossible to learn. But I think if you do a lot of practice, you will make progress, you should speak more and listen more often. You’d better speak English with your classmates as often as possible not only in class but also out of class. I advise you to buy a radio, so you can listen to some English programmes over the radio. Then you will travel in the world of English.If you do that, you’ll be able to learn English well easily, and you’ll like English very much. Last Sunday, I got up very late. After having my breakfast, I called Jack to go to park with me, and he agreed happily. We met at the gate of the park and then went inside to play. We saw many people there. Some were doing exercise; some were reading books under the tree. There's also a very beautiful lake in the park. It was just like a mirror. Jack and I bought two kites. The wind was so strong that we began to fly kites on the grass. We really had a very happy day in the park!
