Is Recycling Textbooks a Good Suggestion?
As is known to all, senior students would throw away their textbooks away when they graduate from school. However, their textbooks are still in good condition. If we just ignore them, it is a great waste of money.
Some people suggest that we should recycle the text-books and I quite agree with them, For one thing, there are millions of students studying in university, middle school and primary school in China. It needs a lot of paper made from wood to print new textbooks. If the graduates leave their old textbooks for the new comers, a great many trees can avoid being cutting down. For another thing, making paper can cause huge pollution. Therefore, saving paper is an effective way to protect the environment. In addition, there are still many people in China living in poverty. The cost for new textbooks is a heavy burden for these poor students. Last but not least, some foreign countries, such as Australia has set a good example for us.
In a word, we should pay more attention to protect our environment. And we can try our best to take part in the campaign.
