① Listen to the story and get some individual students to answer the question.

教师和学生边说唱课本21页的童谣，边做TPR活动。
（设计说明:TPR活动可以促使学生快速集中注意力，并在活动中复习了动词的ing形式，很好地为本单元的学习做了铺垫。这个环节要求动作与童谣同步，培养学生的快速反应能力，增强学习活动的趣味性和学生参与学习活动的积极性。）
Step 2 Presentation
1.热身活动之后，教师取出准备好的火车模型或火车图片提问学生：“What is this ?”然后移动火车模型或图片问学生：“What is this train doing ?”学生可能现在不知道如何做答，教师此时告诉学生：“让我们一起走进课文，学习了课文之后你就知道该如何回答了。”
2.接下来教师用肢体语言把这一单元几个表示方位的词给学生用肢体语言表现出来，如：
up （point upwards） down （point downwards）
past （move your arm past the side of your body）
