As a high school student surveying my college options, I was limited by my parents, who forbade me from leaving the house and living a dorm life at 18. So for three years, I attended a local college. While I still enjoyed having my family close by and eating home-cooked meals, I often found myself wondering what it would be like if I had got that ―college experience‖.

Overall, my most difficult challenge was securing my privacy. If I was on the phone with a friend late at night, I had to leave my room.
