In today globalization, how to maintain the culture’s diversity and the national’s character, that has become an extremely important issue for every country. More and more people already have the consciousness that the more degree of globalization, the more should maintain its own national character and national features. Otherwise the nation will lose oneself in the tide of globalization. In the process of outward expansion, it is particularly important to maintain its original nature, to maintain its original cultural value of national history. ? Play the key role of the government

The above suggest relies on the effect of the government. The reason is that some work itself is the responsibility of the government, and only be successfully accomplished under the support from the government.

Conclusion

Chinese and Western cultures have their own different characteristics. Therefore there is a method to treat the western cultures that “Discard the dross and select the essence”. We can have a conclusion through the above analysis and comparison that there are some differences of the traditional festival culture between Chinese and Western, such as the origin, the custom and so on. In the exchanges of the two cultures, China, as a great civilization, has a colorful traditional culture. However, in the current background of the globalization, only by constantly enhancing the overall national strength, including the improvement of culture competitive power and keep the vitality of traditional festivals, we can integrate into the international community, and thus be invincible.

The current study always stress on some aspects, without the comprehensive and systematical analysis or the deepen research. Therefore, the report want enable to more scholars concern about this area through this exploration, so as to promote and inspire more scholars to carry out the study of traditional festival culture between China and the Western.
