四、 One possible version Dear Peter,
I was glad to receive your email asking me how to learn Chinese.
Chinese, as we all know, is one of the most difficult languages in the world. In my opinion, there are several different ways to learn it. First, go for professional Chinese training in a Chinese school. This will provide you with a good learning environment. Second, read as many Chinese books as you can, especially famous novels. Third, try some Chinese songs. Singing can make it easier for people to accept something that is difficult, so it is a good choice. What’s more, you can also learn Chinese by watching movies. Finally, and most effectively, you can make friends with Chinese people and try to communicate with them in Chinese as possible as you can.
Practice makes perfect. I’m sure that as long as you have confidence and practice over and over again, you will be able to speak fluent Chinese soon.
