The review of Forrest Gump
Forrest Gump,a movie directed by Robert Zemeckis,won the best picture of 67th Academic Award in 1994.Besides, it got other five prizes, like the best achievement in directing, the best visual effect, and so on. It won a high reputation.In the film, Forrest Gump is a very pure image, but Jenny has become the degenerate symbol .
Forrest Gump is unfortunately to be born with a low IQ and muscle problem. Forrest’s IQ only had 75 lower than normal people, but he ran out of his own sky.
With other children mocking and Jenny saying “run”, Forrest Gump took his first step toward running. Forrest has his own perseverance, keeping on running without of any reason, JUST RUNS. He said: “Man has look forward, and never encumbered by foretime. I thank that's the meaning of my running.” By running, Forrest graduated from the university, joined the army for service in Vietnam, finding new friends called Dan and Bubba. He won medals, started a table tennis craze, created a famous shrimp fishing fleet, inspired people to jog, created the smiley, writed bumper stickers and songs, donated to people and met the president several times.
Sometimes I wonder if we all misunderstand the true meaning of smart and clever, for Forrest Gump has taught us a very different lesson. “Life is like a box of chocolates.You never know what you’re going to get.” This is what his mother told he and he believes it throughout his lifetime.
“If God intended everybody to be the same, he'd have given us all braces on our legs.” God is so fair. Forrest met lots of accidents and every accident fortunately achieve him. Forrest’s success is no accident. There is no doubt that ordinary people like you and me can live a rich life by perseverance! From my point of view, kindness and simplicity is the cleverest wealth that God has given us.
On the whole, this movie is special, inspiring, educational, philosophic and moving. It is worthy of our appreciation for many times.
