We want to be independent
Nowadays, there is a growing tendency that parents have done all the things for children. They help us choose food, clothes and even friends. We don’t have access to computers and TVs, because the college entrance examination is around the corner. What’s more, we are not allowed to go outside with our friends and what we do is only to study. This phenomenon not only makes children lack the interpersonal skills and communicating abilities, but also worsens the relationship between our parents and us.
As parents, I think, they should respect their children’s ideas at first. Besides, more freedom should be given to children to let them do what they want to do. As for children, firstly, they should understand their parents. Anyhow, what parents do is nothing but love. Furthermore, learning how to communicate with parents is indispensable. Only then will we live a much harmonious life with our parents.
